The recent storms have caused significant outage events across our state, with PIE&G, GLE, and MEC among the hardest hit. Many of their employees who planned to attend the Symposium are now fully committed to restoration efforts and member support. Given the nature of this event—designed for all of us to come together—we believe it’s essential to stand with our fellow cooperatives and shift our focus to supporting their response. Our combined energy over the next days and weeks must be focused on assisting our cooperative family members to restore critical service to their Member-Consumers. Our MECA team has been working non-stop this past week to provide support on a variety of levels and will continue to do so as long as needed.
